Started in 16th century Nuremberg, Christkindlemarket came to Chicago in 1996. There are 2 locations to choose from in Chicago: the Daley Centre and Wrigleyville. Closer to home is a location in Aurora. The event runs 11 am to 7 pm most days and starts November 19 and runs to Christmas Eve in the Daley Plaza and Aurora and to January 31st in Wrigleyville. - The Beatrix Potter Holiday Tea Party—This adorable interactive show at the Chicago Children’s Theatre is perfect for kids aged 2-6. Four Beatrix Potter favorites come to life in this classic narrated play complete with original music. After the show come up on stage to play with puppets and take pictures then head to the lobby for festive holiday treats. Tickets are $40.25. There are two shows on Saturdays and Sundays at 9:30 am and 11:30 am from November 19th to December 24th.
