Being 72 years old, there has been a lot happened in my life. I lived in the city by Addison and Oak Park Blvd and I graduated from Lane Tech. I went to college at UIC downtown putting myself through school by working for Dominicks. I met my awesome wife working as a teenager at Kroger foods in Harlem Irving Plaza and our wonderful kids, Brian and Maggie, were born after we got married. I needed to make more money than Dominicks paid by learning how to paint and wallpaper by advertising fliers left by mailboxes in Buffalo Grove (I thought the homes there were very nice and new at the time). Soon, I made more money part time than I did full time at Dominicks and quit them. I always considered myself a curious person and asked a lot of questions to better my profession. I would watch other tradesmen doing carpentry, electrical, plumbing and tile and learned how to do quality work which I became known for. I took my skills and focused on complete bathroom and kitchen remodeling. Between painting, wallpapering, drywall and plaster repair and remodeling, I have worked on over 3500 homes in the Chicago area over my career. I always wanted to sell real estate because I felt it was the ultimate home "upgrade". In my 5 year career as a full time agent and a 7 year part time agent, I have close several hundred homes and have used my previous career to help guide buyers and sellers.
